Pune: The Rosy Blue Foundation, the CSR and philanthropic arm of global diamond and jewellery leader Rosy Blue, has officially launched the ARRA Scholarship – a flagship education initiative aimed at empowering academically exceptional Indian students through full financial assistance at India’s top universities.
Named in memory of Late Shri Ramniklalbhai Rajmalbhai Mehta and Late Shri Arunkumar Ramniklalbhai Mehta, the ARRA (Arunkumar and Ramniklal Mehta) Scholarship was piloted successfully in 2024 and has now formally opened its doors to a broader pool of meritorious applicants.
Designed to eliminate financial obstacles for talented youth, the ARRA Scholarship is both merit- and means-based, available to students whose annual family income does not exceed ₹35 lakhs.
It offers full scholarships to deserving candidates pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies across diverse disciplines including Engineering, Medicine, Law, Science, Architecture, Management, Liberal Arts, and more.
“The ARRA Scholarship represents our dedication to supporting India’s future leaders, thinkers, and innovators. By offering full financial support and mentorship, we are investing in human potential and honoring the legacy of two extraordinary individuals who believed in education as a transformative force,” said Russell Mehta, Director, Rosy Blue Foundation & Chairperson, ARRA Scholarship.
ARRA Scholarship – Inclusive by Design
The scholarship is inclusive by design, open to students from all walks of life without regard to caste, religion, or community. In its inaugural year, nine full scholarships were awarded to students admitted to prestigious institutions such as IIT Delhi, IIM Ahmedabad, BITS Pilani, CEPT Ahmedabad, Ashoka University, and Seth GS Medical College, among others.
The ARRA Scholarship is also committed to providing continuous mentorship and community engagement, helping students thrive both academically and personally.
The initiative is part of Rosy Blue Foundation’s long-term vision to create a robust, future-ready talent pool that contributes meaningfully to India’s socio-economic development.
Looking ahead, the Foundation plans to expand the program’s reach by onboarding more top-tier academic institutions, enhancing its digital presence, and fostering a strong community of alumni and mentors.
